GMAT: Graduate Management Admission Test

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is in charge of administering the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). It is a well-known examination that is necessary for individuals applying to Graduate Management programs at business schools globally. This adaptive computerized standardized test evaluates candidates timed analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, highlighting their ability for strategic and logical thinking as well as their competence in handling quantitative and data-related challenges. The GMAT has a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes and includes an optional 10-minute break. It consists of a total of 64 questions, which are divided into three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Analysis. Scores range from 200 to 800, with a score of 650 or higher generally considered strong, although specific requirements may vary by university. Scores are valid for five years, and candidates have the opportunity to take the test multiple times if needed.
