The IELTS is widely recognized as a test for evaluating English language proficiency and is utilized for educational and professional purposes in various countries worldwide. It is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP IELTS, and Cambridge Assessment English, and it measures listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities on a scale ranging from 1 to 9. In the computer-based IELTS, candidates complete the Reading, Listening, and Writing sections on a computer, while the Speaking test is scheduled either before or after on the same day. Scores are valid for two years, and test-takers have the option to retake the exam as many times as necessary.
